Tantra in the Trossachs

Local Information

One of the most magical and beautiful areas of the UK and indeed the world, the Trossachs has captured the hearts and ignited the imagination of many.

The National Park is famous for a reason: From the Arrochar Alps to the island habitats of Loch Lomond, the views from the top of Ben Lomond to the Falls of Dochart, there’s a breath-taking view everywhere you go.

Pure both energetically and physically, the area remains incredibly peaceful, despite the business of tourism in the summer months.

What a place to visit! Every turn there was a jaw dropping and spectacular view. The whole area has countless thrilling journeys and none more so than The Dukes Pass and Loch Lomond itself.

Andy, Weekend Tantric Nature Retreat

The Highlands in Miniature

The Trossachs is the natural meeting place of the Lowlands and Highlands of Scotland. Writers and artists have long been inspired by the beauty of its hills, lochs and woodlands.

The village of Aberfoyle sits on the banks of the River Forth in the magnificent Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Aberfoyle is an acknowledged centre of faery legend and mystery and magic abounds in the area. Nature spirits are all around and are energetically open to connecting with us here. But one does not need to believe in faeries to soak up the revitalising power of nature and the elements.

Doon Hill and Fairy Knowe, Aberfoyle

Less than an hour by car from Glasgow city and Glasgow Airport (GLA),  40 minutes from Stirling and 1hr 20 min from Edinburgh Airport (EDI).  A car is necessary, not only to get here but to travel around the area. If you are travelling from abroad and don’t wish to hire a car then get in touch to discuss.

Session work is either held in my home here in Aberfoyle village or, if preferred, in your booked accommodation, providing it is suitable for the work. Depending on which retreat you book, we will be planning time outside in nature visiting some special places and doing walks and meditations.
